Paintings Peter Wtewael (1596–1660) was a Flemish painter. Wtewael was born in Utrecht, son of the Dutch painter and engraver Joachim Wtewael. He specialized in painting kitchen scenes and mythological figures. Few of his works have survived. Wtewael died in 1660[1]. One of his works is displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art[2].
