Peter Angermann (born 1945 in Rehau, Bavaria) is a German painter based in Nuremberg.
Education and Career
He studied from 1966 to 1968 at the Academy of Fine Arts, Nuremberg and from 1968 to 1972 at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf as a student of Joseph Beuys. Together with Jan Knap and Milan Kunc he founded the artists group Normal. From 1996 to 2002 Angermann was a professor of art at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main and from 2002 to 2010 at the Academy of Fine Arts, Nuremberg.
