Pablo Eduardo is a Bolivian born American sculptor. He currently resides in Gloucester, Massachusetts[1] with his two children.

Education

Pablo’s main sources of education came from the Maryland Institute College of Art, in Baltimore, MD. He also attended Studio Arts Center International, in Florence, Italy and Tufts University, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1994. He has also attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, in Boston, MA. Tomcyn Atelier, in Evergreen, CO, Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and the Rhode Island School of Design. He says his diverse educational background has led to his style, technique and success.[2]

Accomplishments and Work

Some of Pablo's best works are installed in the republic of Bolivia, Ivy League colleges as well as universities, and the Rhode Island State House. In Boston College, Eduardo installed a 15 ft. bronze statue of St. Ignatius of Loyola in 2004. Pablo was selected as the sculptor for a statue of civil rights leader César Chávez, which was the first statue of a Hispanic person on The University of Texas at Austin campus.[3] pablo eduardo has also accomplished many others including the Harold Connoly statue located in front of the Taft School in Brighton. Pablo has another sculpture of St. Ignaius of loyola it was commissioned by the University’s Committee on Christian Art, chaired by T. Frank Kennedy, SJ, director of the Jesuit Institute. When I was growing up in Washington, D.C., Cesar Chavez was a major figure in our home. He was an inspiration. We looked up to him. We grew up with him as an example.” he also made a sculpture in Boston, Mass. of Kevin White, the longest serving mayor in Boston history. Regarding his sculpture Pablo said, “The statue is almost a 10-foot sculpture, It depicts him walking down, leaving Faneuil Hall, walking towards the water… leaving his administration, his legacy, behind.”[4] Pablo now lives in Gloucseter, Ma. with two young children.
