Orientalist painter, in the years 1908-1912 he studied at the Paris Ecole des beaux-arts. He graduated from military school at Fontainebleau, and served in the French army during the First World War. He was awarded the National Order of Merit (Ordre national du MERIT) and a French citizen. With the help of the French Government has traveled North Africa, where he became interested in oriental themes. He also painted scenes from the American Wild West, and at the end of life paintings on religious themes. He was the author of, among others Impression paintings of the pyramids of Egypt and Christ the King (1944), which burned down Jan. 14, 2007.
